I am facing an issue. I am running a 32 bit software on a 64bit Windows OS on Windows 10. When I click on the .exe file, the application opens and then it closes right away. I have tried deleting and re-installing application but to no avail. I have also installed all the relevant drivers but again, that has not seemed to have solved the problem. Any advice on the issue would be very much appreciated.

If you are running Windows 10 64bit or Windows 10 Pro, you may encounter the problem that 32 bit applications simply don’t open or close on 64-bit operating system. But it is not a problem in the sense that you can’t install 32 bit application on your 64bit Windows 10 machine.

When you install 32 bit version of an application, windows automatically takes care of loading and unloading of that app automatically on 64-bit OS so there is no issue there.
